Ram Trucks Australia has announced specs and pricing for the updated heavy-duty 3500 Lamarie pick-up.
The full-size American tank is priced from a lofty $162,950 plus on-road costs.
Power in the 3500 Lamarie comes from a Cummins 6.7-litre turbo-diesel inline-six engine producing 276kW of power at 2800rpm and a massive 1152Nm of torque from only 1700rpm.
The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with low range that sends drive to all four wheels.
With a 50mm ball, Ram says the 3500 has a braked towing capacity of 3500kg. A 70mm ball increased towing capacity to 4500kg, while 8000kg can be towed with the addition of a gooseneck hitch and air brakes.
Payload also climbs to a whopping 1692kg thanks to the move to leaf springs in place of the coils used on the 2500.
Dimensionally, the 3500 measures in at 6066mm long, 2630mm wide including mirrors, 2037mm tall, with a 3785mm wheelbase.
The turning circle is 14.6m, while the fuel tank is 117L.
