Specs and pricing have been announced for the new Renault Arkana SUV, it’s the first model from the French marque to launch under new distributor Ateco.
The coupe-styled SUV will initially be available in Zen and Interns trim levels priced from $33,990 plus on-road costs.
A flagship R.S. Line variant will join the range early in 2022.

The Arkana rides on the same platform Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi CMF-B platform as the Nissan Juke and Renault Captur.
Dimensionally, the Arkana comes in at 4568mm long, 2034mm wide and 1674mm tall, with a 2720mm wheelbase.
Boot space is 353L with the rear seats in place and the boot floor in its highest position, climbing to 485L with the floor lowered, and 1268L with the rear seats folded.
Every variant is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 115kW of power and 262Nm of torque.
Power goes to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Renault claims the 0-100km/h dash takes 9.1 seconds.
The Zen and Intens grades have started arriving in dealerships with the R.S. Line due to join the line-up early in 2022.
