Following in the footsteps of the new 1 Series and X3 M and X4 M SUVs, it’s now time for the new M8 to get the M Performance Parts treatment.
BMW has revealed a host of M Performance Parts for both the M8 and M8 Competition models designed to enhance “the sporty appearance” of the cars.
For the exterior, buyers can option a grille surround and side gills finished in high-gloss carbon-fibre. The same finish can also be had on an M Performance engine cover.
The range will also include M Performance sport brake pads for shorter braking distances, improved response and higher thermal resilience.
For the cabin, there’s an M Performance Pro steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara and leather with carbon-fibre inserts. Carbon-fibre can also decorate the shift paddles and gear selector.
There’s also a set of velvet velour floor mats with an embroidered M Performance inscription, leather-look border and contrasting seams in M colours.
Finally, for those who don’t fancy using their M8 as a daily driver, an M Performance indoor car cover is available along with a set of wheel bags.
BMW Australia is yet to confirm local pricing and availability of the M Performance accessory range for the new M8.
