Kia has announced the arrival of the Stinger Carbon Edition priced from $67,990 drive-away.

Based on the Stinger GT, the Carbon Edition brings a touch of carbon-fibre to the car’s exterior.

The Carbon Edition is distinguished by carbon-fibre door mirrors, grille surround, fender vents, rear skid plate and hood vents. These additions were first seen decorating the US only Stinger GTS.

The Carbon Edition is available in Micro Blue, Hichroma Red, Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black and the new Neon Orange.

Carbon-fibre doesn’t come cheap, the Carbon Edition requires commands a $4000 premium over the GT.

The 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine producing 272kW and 510Nm is carried over. Power goes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
