Berwick in Victoria has welcomed a stylish new Lexus dealership, the second new showroom to open within nine months.
Following the opening of the new Lexus of Central Coast dealership in New South Wales in September 2018, the brand has set up shop in the fast-growing suburb 40km south-east of Melbourne.
The design team of the new dealership has created a customer-focused space said to promote a “warm and comfortable environment” which will be rolled out across Australia as part of a multi-million-dollar investment.
Lexus of Berwick general manager Con Kafetzis commented on the design elements stating: "From the tall ceilings to the detailed wood and marble craftsmanship throughout the inviting lounge area, we wanted to go beyond creating a pressure-free environment and embrace a warmly inviting ambience."
The designers have created an exterior which includes a black frame with an illuminated bright white border surrounding the expansive glass windows. At night the bright white daytime running lights of forward-facing Lexus vehicles stand out to passing foot traffic and other vehicles.
Internally light wood and grey tones interplay with horizontal illumination and high-resolution displays in a welcome room which leads to a reception area. A coffee lounge stacked with brochures and merchandise is also found within.
Lexus of Berwick is also the first dealership to incorporate the One Touch Experience where customers deal with one advisor throughout the entire ownership process covering the purchase process, finance and servicing.
The new Lexus of Berwick opened in March this year and is set to be joined by another Melbourne dealership refurbished in the same style.
