Australian specifications and pricing have been announced for the Mini 60 Years Edition.
 
Mini is offering the 60 Years Edition in 3- and 5-door body styles with either Cooper or Cooper S trim level.
 
A style highlight of the 60 Years Edition models is the latest interpretation of the iconic British Racing Green paintwork with a metallic finish that contrasts with the Pepper White bonnet stripes. Also noteworthy is the new design for the 17-inch Mini 60 Years alloy wheels and door projection.
 
Internally, a Mini Yours leather steering wheel, Dark Cacao Mini Yours Leather Lounge upholstery with green contrast piping and 60 Year detailing is found. There is also an edition-specific surface finish with door bezels in Piano Black.
 
Cooper variants (from $33,900 plus-on-roads) get LED headlights, keyless entry, front seat heating, wireless phone charging, rear-view camera, rear parking sensors and a 6.5-inch infotainment system with navigation and Apple CarPlay as standard.
 
Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine generating 100kW of power and 220Nm of torque.
 
Stepping up to the Cooper S model adds a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon audio system, head-up display, Union Jack tail-lights, Mini drive mode selector and automatic dual-zone climate control.
 
Cooper S variants (from $43,900 plus on-roads) are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 141kW of and 220Nm.
 
Both the Cooper and Cooper S come with six-speed manuals as standard, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is optional.
 
Mini claims the 60 Years Edition vehicles offer up to $8500 worth of extra value for a $4000 premium.
