Mitsubishi has announced the availability of an ASX Black Edition based on the entry-level ES, much like the recently revealed Eclipse Cross Sport Edition.
Differentiating the Black Edition from the wider ASX range will be exterior styling changes including black alloy wheels, door mirrors and front skid plate as would be expected from the name.
There will also be a chrome exhaust tip, front fog lamps, privacy glass and indicators that have been integrated into the side mirrors.
Starlight, Black and Titanium exterior paint colours will be available for the Black Edition.
Internally, aluminium pedals, carbon-fiber styled trim on the centre panel and seats trimmed in micro-suede with leatherette bolsters can be found. There’s also red contrast stitching on the steering wheel, gear shift knob and park brake lever.
Also added to the ASX Black Edition are rear parking sensors and a smart key with push-button start.
Power comes from the farmiliar naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre engine which develops 110kW and 197Nm of torque, it's mated to a CVT.
Like the Eclipse Cross Sport Edition stablemate, the ASX Black Edition will be limited to 1000 units which are priced from $25,490 plus on-road costs and available at dealerships now.
