After releasing images of the new Adventure ute last week, Great Wall has provided the first look at the cabin of the new Urban ute ahead of a public reveal at the Shanghai motor show.
Great Wall claims the Urban model is a family-orientated vehicle designed to ‘create an intimate driving environment with the use of monotone surrounds and contrasting jacquard texture seats and door inserts.’
The images of the Urban’s interior demonstrate a simple, uncluttered design with a leather steering wheel, 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition, electronic dipstick and the climate control system.
Push button start and remote vehicle start functions are also on the features list.
Great Wall has confirmed the Urban will use a German engineered ZF eight-speed automatic transmission with four driving modes – Auto, Economy, Sport and 4 Low – as well as an electric and automatic park brake system, which is also seen in the related Haval H9.
The covers will officially come off the next generation of Great Wall utes at the Shanghai motor show on April 16.
