Renault Australia has announced its light commercial van range will now be backed by a five-year/200,000km warranty as standard.

 

Dubbed the Easy Life LCV package, the permanent move to a five-year warranty covers the Kangoo, Trafic and Master, and also includes five capped price services, and up to five years’ service activated roadside assistance coverage.

Previously, Renault offered three-year warranty coverage on its vans. The longer warranty brings Renault into line with its rivals. The Toyota HiAce, Ford Transit and Hyundai iLoad are all backed by a five-year warranty.

 

“This is a direct response to the overwhelming customer feedback about the five-year warranty promotional offer we began in July as part of our plan to offer the best possible coverage,” said Renault Australia Aftersales and Quality Director Matthew Wright.

 

“In these uncertain times, we have seen strong success with this offer already across all three models. The inclusion of a five-year warranty as standard provides more stability and certainty for customers both now and well into the future.”
