Only two vehicle recall notices have been issued this week from Subaru and Mercedes-Benz.
The first recall comes for 2019 Subaru Impreza and XV vehicles (VINs found here) in relation to a manufacturing fault that may see one of the two locking mechanisms in the vehicle’s rear seat belts unable to lock as designed. This could increase the risk of an injury or fatality to vehicle occupants.
Known owners will be contacted and informed that an appointment for a free inspection and repair if necessary needs to be arranged with a dealer.
A recall notice has also been issued for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class (VINs found here) as the glass pane of the panoramic sliding sunroof may not have been correctly bonded which may lead to increased noise and eventually detachment from the vehicle.
Affected owners are expected to make contact with their preferred Mercedes-Benz dealer to arrange for a free repair.
