The sole vehicle recall notice this week comes for 2001-2003 Volvo S60 and S80 vehicles (VINs found here) concerning the faulty Takata airbag issues.

 

The driver’s airbag inflator may rupture should the airbag be deployed, propelling metal fragments through the airbag cushion and into the cabin. This could cause serious injury or death to vehicle occupants.

 

Known owners will be contacted in writing when parts become available which is expected to be from February 2021 for most models affected by the recall.
