Kia will make its debut in the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2018 in New Delhi with the unveiling of its new SP Concept car, alongside a showcase of 16 global Kia models.
With an Indian heritage influence, bold styling and advanced technology packed in, the Kia SP Concept alludes to future SUV plans for the Indian market.
Also on display will be a showcase of Kia’s global models including a wide range of electric, plug-in hybrid and ICE cars including the new Stinger sports sedan. This will be a taste of what can be expected from Kia in the world’s fastest growing car market.
Han-Woo Park, President of Kia Motors Corporation, commented: “All of us at Kia Motors are extremely proud to take our first steps into one of world’s largest automotive markets. And we are here to build more than just great cars. We aim to set a new standard in the Indian auto industry by providing consumers with world-class products and services, while engaging with and giving back to the local community.”
Kia are enjoying some sales success globally with accolades for design, high-tech features and increasing reliability. The distinctive ‘tiger-nose’ grille runs through the brand’s entire line-up becoming increasingly more recognisable as each new car hits the road which Kia hope will continue in India.
