Peugeot Australia has announced Crossway Editions of the 3008 and 5008 SUVs which will be limited to 60 and 40 examples respectively.
Based on the Allure versions of each model, the Crossway Editions add a premium Focal 10-speaker audio system with sub-woofer, Alcantara trim with emerald stitching, black diamond roof, chrome pack as well as a Crossway badging, b-pillar motif and floor mats (5008 only).
Four exterior paint choices are available: Emerald Green, Artense Grey, Platinum Silver and Gust Blue.
These equipment additions are over and above the standard Allure features which include Peugeot’s i-Cockpit that consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.0-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Externally there are 18-inch alloy wheels, electric folding door mirrors, electric tailgate and satin chrome lower bumper highlights.
Autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, driver attention alert, smart beam assist, adaptive cruise control with stop function, 360-degree camera system, and traffic sign recognition are also standard.
Both versions of the Crossway Editions are powered by a 121kW 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Torque is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.
According to Peugeot, the extra kit added to the Crossway Editions represents $3700 worth of extra value, with prices starting at $43,490 for the 3008 and $46,990 for the seven-seat 5008 plus on-road costs.
The Peugeot 3008 and 5008 Crossway Editions should be in dealerships now.
